This has got to just be some absurd rumor: Yoshiki Hayashi, drummer/pianist/composer*/producer for X Japan, is partnering up with... Stan Lee.
If it's going to be for a comic book that's exactly what people would expect it to be about, then the result can't be more awkward than Dazzler. On the other hand, if this rumor's true, maybe they'll surprise us. Okay, I'm already surprised and bewildered, but I'm open to being surprised and amazed.
*for some reason my fingers spazzed here and kept wanting to type that Hayashi was the band's composter. Saving the environment with the power of rock!

I've had I Won't Say I'm In Love from Hercules stuck in my head all day.
Needless to say, I'm sick of the song. And I really don't know why I like the song.

Less than a year and I can officially gamble in the state I live in.
Although I can totally buy tobacco products and serve our country. Just not gamble or drink.
Eh. I suppose this is the reason to why there are surrounding states that will let me do what I cannot here in my own state....
Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike Iowa? Cause it's pretty lame. Well some days at least. ^^'

Total randomness. You know how some people just look better as they get older? Well, I was flipping channels and I came across an old Robert Downey Jr. movie from 1987. Yeah, I think he looks WAY hotter now than back then. ;D But then, I've always sort of had a thing for older men... Oh, and Oprah had Sean Cassidy on her show today. When I was 2 years old, I was totally in love with him. (Me listening to him) Anyway, it was interesting seeing him 30 years later, singing the same songs. Not quite so "hearththrob" anymore, though. ;D

i'm pretty sure shaun cassidy was my first real crush - but it wasn't lasting, alas. i shortly thereafter discovered rick springfield, and that became my everlasting music crush. still to this day ... rick just gets better with age, though. his new albums are amazing, and he looks mighty fine on tour!

Finally got my own copy of "Tales of Vesperia", and although I've already beaten it once, I think I'll start a new game. Yuri IS the one who introduced me to Troy, afterall. ;D

I must ramble on more about Soul Eater manga. I want this stuff to be animated, ala Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood! They need to make another anime series and get the story right.
Let me speak/write SPOILERY for a minute here, when I say that I never thought Justin Law would turn out to be a villain character and is working for Eibon, who is also a villain character! Eibon's real name is Noah and he looks like a normal guy! Soul's older brother Wes appears in flashbacks, but he's hot, like imagine Soul older and that's Wes... yum...
Joe Buttataki was assasinated by Justin, but he framed Stein for the murder. Spirit, Nygus, Sid, and Marie all believed in Stein's innocence and told him to go find his killer, and Marie went with him, even though she was actually starting to date Joe, again. Yeah, they dated in the past! Stein is in love with Marie, but honestly, I just don't think Marie wants to admit to feeling the same way about him. But, she does want to take care of him, so go figure...
So, Eibon was working with Arachne until Maka killed her using Demon Hunter, her weapon technique, and now Eibon wants to kill Maka. And, because Maka got Arachne's witch soul, she killed another evil person to get her soul (and this chick used an attack called "Nine Inch Nails" lol!), and Soul just ate that for his 100th soul!! He's a Death Scythe now!!!! Yay!!! And, he's a real scythe, just like Spirit...
Anyway, I heart Stein and Marie. They are cool together. So far, all I've seen is Medusa admitting that she's in love with Stein when Arachne made fun of her for not being able to get him to fall in love with her. And, she faked everybody out, making them think she's good, but she wants to kill Maka, too, for the same reason she wanted Joe dead. He was able to sense witches souls through their Soul Protect, and now Maka can do the same thing. Seems to be the highest ability anyone in Soul Eater can have...
Ahh.... I love this thread. I can just ramble on and on about stuff nobody even cares about!

They probably made the Soul Eater anime too soon, while the manga was still being released. I think they did the same thing with Fruits Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist. What I don't get is why some anime end before the manga is finished while others end up with immense amounts of filler and just keep going.
And along the same lines as the "Nine Inch Nails" thing - in the game "Chrono Trigger", there is a trio of bad guys to fight whose names are Ozzie, Slash, and Flea. I always got a kick out of that one, too. ;D

I didn't know it's been used in something else, and even better, it's a video game attack move. That is sweet... And, yeah, I'm sure the Soul Eater animators just made the anime too soon and had to make up their own version of the second half. I really wish they'd just wait a while. The arc where they had to take down Arachnophobia DID end, after all, in like Chapter 61, or so. What I'm reading now is a new arc, and the end of the Arachnophobia arc would have been a great end to the anime. Ugh... *facepalm* There would have been no Stein being controlled by Medusa 'cause that totally never happened. He was alone with Marie (off page) the whole time doing perverted things to her, according to her, lol. I only wish I knew what she meant by that...... ;D
