this is a popular thread on another forum i frequent. basically, you just post about random stuff in it. stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else, or whatever's on your mind at the moment.
i'll start with my random:
i think i just asked a guy out on another not-a-date. that's 2 in the last month. WHAT THE HECK?

Beginning with... you THINK you just asked a guy out on another not-a-date? So you might be going out on a not-date with a guy? What the heck indeed. Why only 2? Do your not-dates suck?

Hahahaha
This is brilliant upon brilliant I believe... <3 Thank you Ally!
Is it possible to ask someone to go on a non-date without them thinking it's a date? Do they have to be close friends? can it be strangers? .... XD
Just curious... lol
RANDOM THOUGHT ON MY MIND:
I would really love to have Travis Willingham, Troy Baker & BFK in the same room with me. All of us buying each other drinks and just laughing too hard and hearing all their amazing and funny stories... *sighs happily at her fantasy that will never come true*

I was bored at a restaurant yesterday. I was eating pancakes and made it into pacman. The butter even became the dots pacman eats.
I felt proud. Until the wait staff took away my plate. Then I was sad.

Ally - Well ok then. (What else can you say about that??) ;D Baka - With all those drinks, you never know what dirty little secrets might leak out... I think I'd be afraid to be there with all 3 of them! XD Unger - you are just plain too funny. I love you. XD My random thought... Well, I knew what it was yesterday. I remember thinking I wanted to post something, but I couldn't figure out what thread it would go in, but it didn't really require a thread of its own. And now I can't remember it. So if I think of it again, or something else, I now have a place to post it. So thank you Ally! XD

Is it possible to ask someone to go on a non-date without them thinking it's a date? Do they have to be close friends? can it be strangers? .... XD that's the trick - making sure they don't think it's a REAL date! and yeah, for that to happen, they've pretty much got to be a good friend. strangers would get all kinds of weird and think it was a date. I would really love to have Travis Willingham, Troy Baker & BFK in the same room with me. All of us buying each other drinks and just laughing too hard and hearing all their amazing and funny stories... *sighs happily at her fantasy that will never come true* replace BFK with laura bailey, and i have lived your fantasy! it was entirely too much fun, too... ... you THINK you just asked a guy out on another not-a-date? So you might be going out on a not-date with a guy? What the heck indeed. Why only 2? Do your not-dates suck? nah, my not-a-dates are AWESOME! i just don't get to go out very much, with being a single mom and all. if i get to go out, it's usually with a group of my friends to the wine bar or karaoke. the first not-a-date was with my friend chris to the hetalia premiere in dallas {which was SO MUCH WIN!}, and this one was to be for a wedding reception that i really don't want to attend alone - but my friend is previously engaged that evening, so i'm back to square one. don't want to ask any of the other guys i know, as they'd all think it was a DATE! so, i think i'm going to ask some of the girlfriends if they want to go batch it together.

Dammit. You're amazing. Will you be my wife? XD XD Would you want me as your wife? XD Heh. Heh. Heh. Sooooooooo I forgot to buy razors at the store today. My friend doesn't shave her pits or her legs and I thought I may try that out to see how it goes now that it's cool out anyway. XD Come to think of it, while I was away from my man for 11 months I didn't shave my legs. I didn't even shave my legs the first night back. Heh. Heh. Heh. My friend kept calling me a sasquatch and I made James enjoy teh hairy XD XD

This thread's pretty awesome... ;D
@avy: Did James enjoy teh hairy?? I wonder if that's cool with some guys. Usually, they don't like it.
My randomness for today: I slept 9 straight, blissful hours last night without waking up even once... THAT. FELT. GOOD.
That is all.

Oobleck is my new favorite word. It may become my least favorite word when the novelty of a cornstarch mixture being touted as "non-Newtonian!! Look how it dances if you pour it over these speakers!" wears off and it just looks and is pronounced like someone's vomiting.
