Guess what my friend got back from Tokyo! There's a much better image here on Amazon but there's no preview there. Geeking out with game spoilers ahoy! This art book includes small outlines, and large colored images by Shigenori Soejima. It has five sections for these respective games: Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, P3P... yeah, it's kind of obvious which one's the creator's favorite. Company's pet *grumbles*... Persona 4, and Stella Deus which I've never played or heard about but it looks good. Specifically, this guy looks good: I'll find you some day, mystery bishonen. For the P3 fans-- whoa HELLO, NAKED MITSURU. This is the inked outline, the book also has a full-color one that spans two pages. It takes a lot to faze Akihiko. Guys, I think your Senpai's getting a mite chilly up there! The art book is a bit of a letdown, though, in that I can't find any richly colored solo pics of Kanji Tatsumi! Personally, that makes this quite a yawn. And, bizarrely, the ones of Naoto Shirogane are really not androgynous. I guess that one-ups the English voice casting iffiness? "So what I been trying to say is, it turns out I really ain't into girls, so I think we oughta break u... Wouldja get your hand off of my thigh? 'S making this all really hard and confusing for me..."It seems at least the Yukiko/Kanji shippers get a majestic nod All that, plus a glossy full page dedicated to Chie in her yukata, plain background Junpei/Chidori, and the most adorable Investigation Team group pics I've seen get at least 1.5 of my thumbs up. If it suffered from a severe lack of Kan-chan, at least there's P4 Club ... in English, some day. I'm dropping a hint, licensers/publishers!

I lol'd!
I haven't played those games or seen anything by that artist, but art books are so awesome.
I wanna pick up the Vampire Knight one sometime.

We used to have a Kinokuniya bookstore in a huge mall near me where you could get stuff like this. But it closed earlier this year (and I'm so upset!!), so now the only one is in NYC. But supposedly that one is huge. Someday I'll get there.
Funny thing is, I've been to the one in San Francisco, yet NYC is the one I live by... XD
Oh, and they'll have a booth at NYCC, but looking at the floorplan, it looks like the dealer's section is going to be a crazy mingled mess of Comic Con exhibitors and NYAF exhibitors...
