I'm personally a HUGE Gerard Butler person.
Actress wise, I haven't found someone who I like. Not yet at least...

Hugh Jackman is another favorite of mine. But I like Gerard more. Which is kind of weird.
I still can't think of any actresses I like either....

I have odd actor tastes. Right now my favorite is probably Jim Caveziel. I'm also a pretty big Will Smith, Denzel Washington and Sean Maher fan. I am also a pretty big nerd for Bruce Campbell.
On the girlie side, I really enjoy Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst, and Jennifer Connolly.

I am a huge fan of Val Kilmer and after finally paying attention to some female actresses I must say Natalie Portman is one of my favorites.
Kate Winslet is quite talented as well...

Oh, good topic! I love Jim Parsons from "The Big Bang Theory." Tall, skinny, gangly, adorkable, 30-something, hails from east Texas... Gee, he sounds like someone else we know, I think? But, other than him, I like James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Hugh Grant, Jim Caveziel, James Marsden. Every actor named either James (Jim), or Hugh, actually... How odd that it turned out that way... With the ladies, I like Jennifer Garner, ScarJo, and Amanda Bines. Gotta love that funny chick...

I LOVE ST:TNG! My fave!! John De Lancey is SO MUCH WIN!!! And I STILL have a major crush on Riker.
Gerard Butler and Hugh Jackman are tasty as hell. P:
Kate Winslet is hella talented and hot too! She's got a great body. I can't stand skinny minnies. @_@
My girl is, of course, the very beautiful, very redheaded, very busty Christina Hendricks. *picks up jaw from floor*
Hmm, as for actors.... I enjoy Andy Whitfield (he's absolutely chisled gorgeousness) - if you haven't seen Spartacus: Blood and Sand I suggest you go now. Right now. Unless you don't like blood and gore and full frontal male/female nudity.... cause it's packed fulla that. I like Ryan Reynolds, he's sexy and funny AND Canadian. What more could you want?
As for sheer acting chops: Kevin Spacey.
I'm sure there are more, but I can't think right now..........
*wipes drool up*

I love ST: TNG too! My favorite of all of them. Mike still likes the original ST best though... Anyway, yes John DeLancey is awesome, but so is Patrick Stewart. I had a chance to see him do his one-man show of "A Christmas Carol" on Broadway in '93. It was aMAZing. Right now, I love Matt Bomer on White Collar. And now that we're watching Covert Affairs, I think Augie's a cutie, too... (Christopher Gorham) I also have liked Liam Neeson, Hugh Jackman, Hugh Laurie, Michael Weatherly... And I have a special place for Bruce Campbell too. Don't really know why though. And of course Harrison Ford as Han Solo. How could anyone NOT love him? Actresses? I know I have some favs but I can't think of any right now...

Catherine McCormack. I don't get the impression that she's ever been a really big star, but in my opinion she saved 28 Weeks Later. Even though her character was really passive, her performance was just phenomenal. I'm so glad she's still working, if IMDb is anything to go by. And I should probably watch Moon and the Stars some time.

I like actors who can make me cry... and who can act, of course. As far as my favorite actors go I'd have to say... Aaron Eckhart, Alan Rickman and Ben Kingsley. I think all three of them are great actors and they've all made me cry at least at one of their movies that I have seen. I don't have a favorite actress, though... I probably should, but I can't think of any that have impressed me.

I agree, Robert Downey's pretty good. And I think age has been REALLY good to him. As I've said elsewhere, I think he looks much better now than he did when we was younger.
I also just noticed that Jeff Bridges is still looking pretty good after all these years, too. Why do men often age so much better than women? It's not fair. XD
