Well it's that spooky, ooky, altogether kooky time of year again. And I would love to know if you guys have any good ghost stories. They can be personal experiences, family stories,an urban legend you may know,a story from your neighborhood, town, city,or state.Just so everyone knows, eventhough I'm not the most religous person,I respect the fact that you may be.I just happen to be the spiritual sort.

I wanna tell a story!!!
Okay. So ever since I was little, there's been this really tall guy who wanders our kitchen. Mind you, I only catch him out of the corner of my eye. But it used to freak me out but my mom was all "it's your guardian angel" but I hardly see him anymore. It was freaky for a while though. Since I've never gotten a good look or anything and I swear he just watches me sometimes. I know he's at least six feet tall, wears a long black jacket and a hat. What's weird is that my parents are the second owners of the house and the guy who built the house and lived in it before us doesn't fit the description and was still alive when I first saw the figure.
So I have no idea why he's there. But it's rather comforting now.
And I have one other story. We had a cat named Tigger when I was younger. I think we had him for 7 years before he met his fate with our garage door. But he always layed in my closet. I don't know why but he always layed in the same spot when he was indoors. However, the day he died I had some stuff covering his spot, a little barbie corvette car, or maybe it was the van..I don't know for sure but his spot was covered and that night I heard noises. I got up and turned on the light and the spot where he slept was clear of the barbie vehicle.
I kept covering the spot and what ever I put there was moved by the next morning. It eventually stopped but it was weird when it happened. My parents had no idea what to tell me. I mean, how can you tell your child that the dead cat might be moving the stuff? You just can't. It would scare them.
So yeah. Those are my stories. I think those are my only ones too...

I have a few,but I won't group them together,I'll start with my most recent. This took place about 5 years ago.I absolutely HATE the dark.I was sleeping on the couch in the living room of the trailer we were living in at the time.My sister and her ex-mistake always left for work very early in the morning.Eventhough that asshole knew my fear very well,he took it upon himself to turn off all the lamps and the t.v and leave.About 20 minutes after they left,I had turned over on my back (which is unusual in and of itself because I'm a side-sleeper).All the sudden I literally felt myself being stared awake. And not in a pleasant manner by any means. Then I felt hands push my shoulders hard into the couch.I completely freaked out, jumped of the couch, turned the lights nad t.v back on and wasn't able to sleep for 2 nights.I told that jackass if he ever left me in the dark again,he'd have a first class ticket to the other side.
Unger,I loved your story. It's so nice to hear that someone cares enough to look over you from the other side.

I wish I knew why he (or she, since I technically don't know if it's male or female.) is still there. And only in the kitchen. Nothing happened, at least to my knowledge. But as long as no one tries to harm me, I will be happy.

Okay, well about 2 years ago, I visited Waverly Hills Sanitorium up in Louisville Kentucky.
Not much happened, except that about an hour before I left, I felt my hair get lifted up above my head.
It was pretty freaky.

I've heard of Waverly Hills.I wouldn't step foot in there if you paid me.I refuse to go into abandonned hospitals, sanitoriums,Insane asylums,or prisons. These places hold untold human misery and that never really fades or goes away.

I've always wanted to go there. However, I think I would change my mind once I got there.

It sounds like you have a bit of the gift perhaps, Unger! There's a reason those things happened and happen to you. ROFL XD No kidding!

I mainly got scared by the tour guides popping up out of nowhere beside me. But I'll admit, before I even arrived there, I was pretty scared, but I had been wanting to visit Waverly since I was in Middle School, and I knew that I couldn't back out. But just as I said before, once you get there, and you walk aroud for a bit, you begin to relax and really start getting into the whole bit of being able to be a Paranormal Investigator for a night.
