I'm Wiccan, but I live in the tropics and in the city. The dry season and wet season don't dance so much as grapple. My mentor still observes the temperate rituals, since the Irish blood is fresher in him, but I just don't feel it.
On the secular side: hooray, hooray for the incoming free candy day! Debating on whether to go as Katara (from The Last Airbender, her parka-free outfits of course) or Naoto Shirogane (from Persona 4.)

Years ago I used to be more into it, but as I got older I lost touch as other things came into play, and never recovered. I've never had anyone to talk to or to practice with - always been helplessly solitary. 'Tropics' has a nice sound to it. XD So do you live in two places or in a city in the tropics?

Oh, okay... I see. It's a Celtic/Druid thing. I don't really know enough about that, but I know a little about the fair folk...

In a city that is located in a tropical country xD Kind of a strain on tradition, but then I guess also a big chance to forge new ones. But, then there's no telling where "Not as Wiccan as other people expect" becomes "Not as Wiccan as I'd like to be" becomes "Not Wiccan. Just carries a sense of spirituality that started there," huh? Oh, back off the ramble. Happy Mabon to whoever may celebrate it

I like to at least note the sabbats/related events as they pass me by. XD
Yeah, I like all those druidic/celtic/old religions. They're really fascinating to me.
