OK, fess up - who knits? Crochet too, I don't discriminate.
I knit, and have for ... well, a REALLY long time. I intend to learn to crochet, it's been on my "goal" list for the last 2-3 years. Maybe this year I'll finally just DO IT!
Right now I'm knitting a lace scarf. Just finished a lace wrap. Need to start some new arm warmers soon, and also some hats for my "give away" stash - as I'm going to give 2 away in the next couple of weeks. I like to knit random hats and then go to conventions or to visit friends, and just let them try them on and take whatever they like. So far it's been pretty fun.

I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I suck at knitting.... I suck at gauge... knitting takes too much time for me. XD
I crochet! ;D I crochet all sorts of crap, but of course I LOVE my amigurumi. I don't use patterns... it all just comes from my head. XD
I learned to knit working at a call centre job where I was a sort of resolution specialist. In other words I get yelled at for 8 hours a day and sit and knit/crochet my way through it. Sometimes I brought crayons and paper to work and would draw the people I talked to based on what they sounded like and how much of an asshole they were. haha
But, I digress.
I want a ally-hat!! Do I smell a trade....? *hopeful smile*

To be honest... I've always wanted a hat with kitty ears or something along those lines! Something super cute but not super bright... What kinda amigurumi would you like? I can do lots of stuff... I have a little blog of some stuff I made if you wanna see what I tend towards but am not limited to! XD avy-gurumi.blogspot.com/And amigurumi? Super easy, especially if you can already knit/crochet. If you know how to increase and decrease you can make just about anything!

Knitting has been an interesting thing with me.
I learned how to when I was 10. After a year, I gave up.
14, picked it back up, but still didn't have the patience, so I dropped it again after a week.
Now, I decided I wanted to make a scarf for J. Michael Tatum when he comes to my towns con & ever since, I just can't stop making scarves. I'm only on my 3rd one but it's coming along.
I finished Michael Tatum's, which is purple, and a red one for a friend of mine.

I started knitting in February and I've made a lot of things. My current project is actually a scarf for Troy. I'll be sure to post pictures after I give it to him at Glitch Con....

Hee! I just found this today!
"I hate knitting with metal needles, they're so slippery."
"I never swatch!"
"Do you think I should frog this?"
I don't get what to do with the edges of a project in progress so that it doesn't get all curly.
