step one - i gave the house a final look for the sketch pad i bought last year, didn't find it, so i took the walmart gift cert i got for Christmas and bought a new one, and some mechanical pencils.
i have to say, though - walmart's art department has hit rock bottom. i was seriously surprised at the lack of even mediocre quality stuff i found there.
and please, don't tell me to hit michaels or hobby lobby, etc! i live in a very small town, in the middle of nowhere. the nearest target, hobby lobby, michaels, etc is about a 2hr drive. people from the surrounding area come HERE to shop, because at least we have a walmart. srsly.
i'll have to find my gouache, good pencils, blenders, and gum erasers at the university book store or the new art store that the tribe opened up. it just means i'll have to wait for next payday, then use my walmart card to get groceries so i'll have a little extra cash for art supplies.

That's exciting, Ally! I'm really looking forward to seeing some of your art, if you choose to share it, that is. But, I'll understand if you don't. Believe me, I don't share everything I make, either. Most of it is garbage, anyway.

Kyashi, don't be so hard on yourself, sweet pea. You're more talented than you realize.

You know, I've already met my biggest goal. I have found some of the most wonderful people in the world and was lucky enough to call them my friends. To all of you, I love you guys with all my heart and you've all become so special to me. I truly have been blessed to walk the path that led me to all of you.

Kyashi, don't be so hard on yourself, sweet pea. You're more talented than you realize. That's really kind of you, plume. I appreciate it. But, my struggle with my art is probably good for me. It doesn't come particularly naturally to me, and that makes me struggle and fight. It keeps me humble. And, your other words to us all are so nice, too. I'm glad I've met you, because as far as genuineness and classiness goes, you've got them in spades. ;D

I hate that they took the sewing/fabric department away. :/ Gouache is paint, is it? My mom is a painter. I got none of her skill. XD I'm excited to see the cool stuff you make, Ally! I gotta get on your amigurumi too!... actually, I've gotta get on everyone's! XD Yeah, Plum. You're awesome! Kyashi always puts it beautifully, but it feels like a cop-out for me to keep writing QFT! XD XD

And hopefully by the new year I will know what is going haywire in my body so I can work on keeping it fully healthy and I won't have to worry about passing out. Well this one can get scratched off my list. I know what's going on and how it can be taken care of. Although it's slightly ironic cause I have to increase my salt and water intake by a lot. And everyone in my family has to keep a huge eye on their salt intake. ^^' And I made one step towards a better relationship with my dad. It ended up backfiring but I managed to try. He came to Tron Legacy with me and my mom but I think he slept through it or wasn't paying attention. He did eat a large size popcorn in 15 minutes. How do I know that? We got to our seats 15 minutes before the movie started and before the lights dimmed for the movie he was finished with it...

I'm working toward a career in audio, right now I really like Sound Designing so I'm going to work on building my sound effects/foley library as much as I can as well as dabbling in ADR work still when I get the chance.

I can't even remember what I specifically said in my earlier goal post, and I don't even wanna bother re-reading it, but I'll make a more focused goal to start writing a novel this year, hopefully, from start to finish. I want to write a shorter-length one that I can eventually self-publish very cheaply. I hope very cheaply, anyway. Also, I'll probably publish it chapter by chapter over at fictionpress.com, so I can get readers' feedback, if that's possible. That would be soooo ideal! ;D I'm working toward a career in audio, right now I really like Sound Designing so I'm going to work on building my sound effects/foley library as much as I can as well as dabbling in ADR work still when I get the chance. Anime industry, here you come!! ;D

@ Kyashi- haha that was actually my original plan! I wanted to move to Dallas and work for Funimation, now I'm focused more on film. There's a budding independent film industry in my area that I'm worming my way into. Right now I'm just known as the Slate Girl (I get to run the clacker!) but soon... I will be known as the audio girl *maniacal laughter* *clears throat* oh! good luck on the novel by the way I've been working on my own story off and on for... 3 years now? I don't expect anything to come from it though. Plumeriasmoon- I hope for almost that much xD I finished a project recently that caused me a lot of stress, but that's to be expected with this industry. I just need to learn how to deal with it! ;D

Cela, you're going to go far. I know it. I might have to axe of my achievement of finding out what is wrong with my body, this time around at least.
